Guardian Private Security Services LLC (GPSS) formed in 2023 by security professionals from around the Portland Metropolitan Area. After spending years in various roles for private security firms, these professionals decided to make a commitment not only to themselves, but to the community.

Large private security firms have saturated the market with unqualified labor, diminishing the quality, public perception, and professional standards of the trade.

GPSS is not a national or multi-national organization. It is locally owned and operated. GPSS believes that the best security organizations do not come from across the country, but originate in their hometowns, understand the local culture, and have built lifelong relationships within their communities.

GPSS is built on three core principles: professionalism, reliability, and adaptability. Through these principles and community partnership, GPSS aims to deter crime, protect the lives and property of our clients, counter the fluidity that changes the security environment, and uplift the private security profession throughout the state.
